Stress Build Up and Quality Conversation in Cold Calling
Focusing on quality conversations in cold calling can seem like an impossibility at times. We all too well understand the hard times we face when placing a cold call. We go through just as many changes as the prospects themselves. However it doesn’t always have to be that way.
The new mind-set can give you a better way to view your cold calling and you can have a quality conversation with 80-90% of your prospects without stress when cold calling. The key to quality conversation is being truthful, honest and staying away from those stereo-typical things we all know…and yes I am going to say them again. The importance of knowing two-way conversation is necessary to help you relieve your stress and the stress the prospect picks up the phone.
We must learn to cater to the needs of the prospect and not our pockets to get through a stress free day in cold calling. Understanding that a planned out conversation may work at first but in order for the natural flow of conversation you must move away from the script. Looking past all that we have learned in sales training can be difficult but taking back your personality should be simple.
